A Relic and a Rant
love the color contrast…perfect title i must say
Thanks. You know, this isn’t a really remarkable image. It is the color contrast that makes it work well.
Good eye. 😉
The last autumn leaves are beautiful!!
Yes they are; however, these may have had some life breathed back into them. This shot was taken in February. 🙂
beautiful colour toning.
Thanks! I think that the color toning may be the only truly good thing about this image. Still, I like it.
Awesome! I have a tree similar to this in our back 40, and each year I say I am going to go out there and photograph it when it’s at its peak of color, but I always forget.
Well, you could do like I did. This shot was taken just two days ago (feb 13th). Thus the leaves were brown and crispy. I had to bring them back to life, with a little mojo.
Ours turns off much earlier and the leaves fall off not too long after that, so I don’t have much of a window – I always seem to miss it! Next year maybe. You did a good job!
I like your photography, Dinkerson.
Thanks Mike! Your work is excellent, which make this compliment all the better.
This was a great find, and so well taken too 🙂
You know, there was something special about it. I’m glad that others seem to think so too.
Yes, it IS special 🙂
Thank you, Hook.
I love your work, I can’t wait to see more! 🙂
